Abstract

The monograph presents an original concept of the structural phenomenology and typology of forms of the artistic image. Based on the analysis of the processual existence of culture and art, the principles of structuring mental states (creative and mystical states of flow), and the specifics of forming an artistic phenomenon on phenomenological and physical planes, the author proves that the dynamics of these processes build one and the same structure. The content of this structure is characterized by the regularity of the formation of the tetraktys. The analysis of the continual process made it possible to construct the structure of the artistic image, trace the perspective of its substantial and processual existence, define the main types of forms, identify the principles of modifications within these forms, and characterize sixteen types of formations. The book is addressed to art historians, culturologists, philosophers, artists, educators, and students of higher educational institutions, as well as anyone interested in the problems of contemporary art
