Abstract

The monograph presents the original concept of intentionalism of culture and art. Intentionality is interpreted as a basic component of the existence of any phenomenon. Intentionality defines and determines the procedural existence of culture and art, changing in accordance with changes in the process (periods) of formation. The analysis of intentionality is carried out on the basis of the tetractyde and relevant philosophical teachings. The laws of the intentional existence of culture and art (historical, metahistorical dimension) are determined and substantiated, the existential nature of cultural and artistic phenomena in the final period of the formation of culture, the content of which is associated with the change of the dynamic lever to the extensive one, with the formation of intentional reflection in the space of culture; it models the corresponding meanings and determines the corresponding style of cultural existence - the intentional style. Based on the defined positions, the works of Valentin Sylvestrov and Oleksandr Shchetinsky are analyzed. For scientists, artists, teachers, students, and everyone interested in the phenomenon of intentionality, issues of the intentional existence of phenomena, the existence of contemporary and future art and culture in general.
