Abstract

The purpose of this study is to theoretically conceptualize the specificity of music event directing within legal campaigns aimed at protecting human rights and to identify the mechanisms of shaping emotional impact on audiences through musical and stage dramaturgy. Methodology. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach integrating concepts of art studies, social communication, emotional psychology, and mass communication theory. General scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, and systematization, as well as elements of structural-functional and cultural analysis, were applied to comprehensively examine the role of music as a tool for emotional and semantic modulation of legal messages. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the study lies in conducting, for the first time in Ukrainian art studies and interdisciplinary discourse, a comprehensive analysis of music event directing as an integral component of communication strategies in human rights campaigns. The research substantiates the principles of integrating musical and stage expressive means into the structure of legal events in order to enhance their emotional and persuasive potential. An original conceptual framework is proposed for understanding the functional roles of music in legal campaigns, particularly in forming primary impressions, intensifying key messages, constructing emotional dramaturgy, and stimulating civic engagement. Conclusions. The study demonstrates that purposeful application of directing and musical-dramaturgical tools in legal campaigns significantly increases the effectiveness of communication, deepens emotional involvement of the audience, and strengthens the social resonance of human rights initiatives. Music is conceptualized as a crucial emotional and semantic instrument capable of transforming abstract legal concepts into accessible artistic images, thereby fostering public awareness and active civic participation in human rights protection processes.
