Abstract

The article conducts a comprehensive study of strategic priorities for ensuring the economic security of the agricultural sector within the framework of the sustainable development paradigm. The author substantiates the conceptual position according to which food security is a basic element of the state’s economic stability system. It is proven that the stability of food supply in the conditions of global turbulence and military threats is not only a social priority, but also a prerequisite for maintaining macroeconomic stability. The internal and external factors influencing the availability of food are analyzed, where special attention is paid to the reliability of logistics chains and the diversification of export channels as a means of leveling the risks of a sea blockade. The mechanisms of greening agricultural production and the implementation of rational land use methods are revealed. It is determined that the economic security of the agricultural sector directly depends on the state of natural capital, primarily on the qualitative characteristics of the soil cover. The author substantiates the need to expand ESG metrics through the integration of biodiversity indicators and soil health. The role of regenerative practices, such as minimum tillage and precise fertilization, is outlined, which allow reducing land degradation and increasing the adaptability of agroecosystems to climate change. It is proven that sustainable development of regions is impossible without the active participation of large agricultural structures in social projects aimed at developing infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the rural population. Social responsibility is considered as a tool for preserving and developing human capital, which, in conditions of a shortage of qualified personnel, becomes a limiting factor in the digitalization and modernization of the industry. An integrated model of institutional interaction has been formed, where the combination of economic interests of business with environmental standards and social needs of communities creates conditions for the formation of a high level of resilience of the agricultural sector. The proposed approaches ensure the transition to a model of sustainable growth, where safety indicators become a guarantee of reliability and competitiveness of the national producer in the international arena.
