Abstract

The purpose of this study is to substantiate linguodidactic strategies of text production as an effective factor in the formation of grammatical competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature in the process of studying linguistic disciplines; to define the conceptual characteristics of the key terms "grammatical competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature" and "linguodidactic strategy of text production"; and to develop and describe the stage-by-stage implementation of linguodidactic strategies of text production within the university educational process. Methods. To achieve the stated research purpose, a set of complementary methods was employed: theoretical — analysis, synthesis, systematization and generalization of scholarly sources in pedagogy, didactics, linguodidactics and language teaching methodology in order to establish the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study; comparative analysis of the definitional apparatus of the problem under investigation; empirical – pedagogical observation of the educational and cognitive activities of philology students during the study of syntax and morphology of the modern Ukrainian language; examination and generalization of pedagogical experience in implementing linguodidactic strategies in university language education practice; questionnaires and interviews with students and academic staff to assess the levels of grammatical competence formation; statistical – quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of pedagogical observations and diagnostics. Results. The article clarifies the content of the concept "grammatical competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature" as an integrated ability to produce meaningful and coherent utterances on the basis of systemic knowledge of the morphological and syntactic levels of language. Linguodidactic strategies of text production are described with the identification of the orientational and activity-based stages of their implementation. Effective methodological tools for the formation of grammatical competence of future language and literature teachers are characterized, including: a system of cognitive, constructive and communicative exercises and tasks; linguistic games (Gramatyst, Language Marathon); educational projects; wiki technologies; and problem-based tasks grounded in parallel grammatical constructions. Conclusions. Linguodidactic strategies of text production correlate with the logic of the contemporary university educational process, foster grammatical erudition, linguistic flexibility and language sense in future teachers, and contribute to the formation of philology students' motivation for developing their individual grammatical competence. Prospects for further research are associated with developing innovative applied methodological tools for integrating the educational components of linguistic disciplines
