Abstract
The article examines social management as a tool for the development of social work in the community. It has been determined that the areas of community-based social work include: organizational and coordination, analytical and prognostic, social support, preventive, motivational, social integration, crisis response, and social development. Their implementation is made possible through social management, which is based on an integrated and interdisciplinary model of social service delivery within the community. The tasks of social management as a tool of social work with vulnerable population groups in the community include: analyzing the social needs and problems of the community; developing policies and strategies for the development of social services within the community; planning and organizing social services and programs, participating in monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness; managing and ensuring quality control of social service delivery; establishing partnership cooperation between the public and civil society sectors, local self-government bodies, charitable foundations, and volunteer groups; and developing social entrepreneurship. The methods of social management include socio-psychological methods, organizational and managerial methods, and community management methods. Each of these methods is aimed at implementing the areas of social work with vulnerable population groups in the community and ensuring its development. The role of social management lies in the implementation of integrated and interdisciplinary models of social service delivery within the community. In particular, the integrated model is based on cross-sectoral cooperation, the pooling of community resources, and coordinationof processes at the local level. The interdisciplinary model is an effective mechanism for transitioning from fragmented assistance to an integrated system of social services in communities. It ensures a holistic, coordinated, and client-oriented approachto overcoming difficult life circumstances caused by war, and contributes to improving the quality of social services and the resilience of communities. Its implementation creates a foundation for the formation of an effective system of integrated social support capable of adequately responding to contemporary social challenges.
