Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of professional burnout in social work, current forms and methods of its prevention in modern conditions of Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the problem of professional burnout, analyze its features in social work, classify forms and methods of prevention of professional burnout in social work. Accordingly, a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the problem of professional burnout was carried out based on materials of current research, the causes and features of professional burnout in social work were analyzed. A number of research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization of scientific sources in psychology, social work and social pedagogy in order to determine the essence of the concept of professional burnout, its causes, manifestations and approaches to prevention; comparative analysis was used to study domestic and foreign scientific approaches to the problem of professional burnout and determine effective forms and methods of its prevention in social work; The generalization of practical experience was used to analyze the practice of social services and determine effective forms of prevention of professional burnout among social sphere specialists. The differences between professional burnout, stress, depression and professional deformation were determined. It was proven that social work, which belongs to the "person-to-person" professions, has the highest risk of professional burnout due to the constant need for empathetic communication with clients in difficult life circumstances. Prevention of professional burnout is described as a multifactorial system of preventive measures, which aims not only to level stressors, but also to actively increase the internal adaptive resources of the specialist. It is substantiated that prevention of professional burnout in social work can be successful only if a number of measures are applied within a comprehensive multilevel approach that combines individual and organizational measures. In this case, the development of psychological resilience of social sphere specialists, the formation of professional support in the team and the introduction of modern technologies of personnel management in social services play an important role. The results of the study indicate that professional burnout is a complex multifactorial phenomenon that significantly affects the effectiveness of social workers. In this regard, the prevention of this phenomenon should become one of the priority areas of development of the social work system, since the psychological stability of specialists directly determines the quality of social services and the effectiveness of social support for the population.
