Abstract

The article explores the theoretical foundations of professional training for future choreographers in the university education system. Artistic and scientific pedagogical works are analyzed, which set out the conceptual provisions for the development of choreographic education in Ukraine. The specifics of the formation of professionally significant competencies and professional and personal qualities in students have been revealed. The key aspects of educational programs that reflect the content of training future choreographers in domestic and foreign institutions of higher art education are outlined. The importance of academic disciplines and practices that help students gain experience in concert performance and rehearsal activities is justified. The authors have identified the basic principles that contribute to the effectiveness of professional training for future choreographers (interdisciplinary interaction, interdependence of theoretical and practical training of students, correlation between educational and concert-performance activities, aestheticization of the educational process in choreography classes, diversity of genres and polystylistics). The factors that ensure the success of professional training of future choreographers at the university are described: 1. High level of performance and pedagogical skills of lecturers of choreographic disciplines. 2. Students' creative talents and their ability for professional self-development and self-improvement. 3. Organizing the educational process on a scientific basis, taking into account latest achievements in the field of choreographic art. Conclusions are formulated: The professional training of future choreographers at the university is a complex and multifaceted process, carried out in accordance with the educational-professional program. It is based on the interconnection of academic disciplines (philosophical-aesthetic, psychological-pedagogical, and professional cycles), and is also aimed at developing students' competencies that ensure success in stage performance, organizational-pedagogical, and ballet master activities.
