Abstract
The article analyzes the early works by M. Rylsky (collections until 1930) concerning the use of a blank verse. It is noted the clear organization of the unrhymed structures syllabic-tonic sizes (with some variations touches), and simulation of the classic elegiac distich that gets in the poet's distinctive sound. Special attention is paid to the string and strophic hyphens, studies which for the future are planned. It is alleged that early works by M. Rylsky combines centuries-old literary tradition with its own style and various stylistic trends
