Abstract
Ukraine today is in the process of building solid relations with, or even becoming a member of various international organizations, like EU. In 2012, we (together with Poland) hosted the Euro cup, and international businesses saw Ukraine as a stable and reliable partner. Apart from political implications, this factor has opened additional market niches for translators and interpreters, and the need will only grow. Thus the article outlines the situation in the market as well as the challenges it faces.
