Abstract
The monograph deals with the problem of creating full, effective political parties and their participation in the state building process in Western Europe and America, and in particular Germany. The early history of the CDU, the analysis of the origin and formation, against the revival of the German state, allowing a deeper understanding, identify the specific characteristics of party-political processes of post-war Germany, divided into four zones of occupation. A balanced, well thought out, consistent policy of the Christian Democrats, the result of which was out in public and political arena in the early years, laid a success for the CDU and the following years. Decades representatives of the Christian-democratic governments formed by Germany, the constitutional majority, with the support of other political associates (CSU, FDP, etc.), Parliament (Bundestag) and determined the course of the country.
