Abstract
The article deals with the definition of the legal regulation order to freedom of peaceful assemblies that is realized in the form of election campaigning. In this paper the key issues for improving national legislation governing the electoral law relations are identified. The author formulates the fundamentals of the precedent European case law on freedom of assembly and electoral rights of citizens. The suggested innovations are aimed at using them in lawmaking and law enforcement activities.
