Abstract
Experience in teaching the course "Educational rhetoric" in Uman State Pedagogical University and Paul Tychyna course "Rhetoric" the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management showed that its logical structure should include the following elements: history teacher of rhetoric, theory of teaching rhetoric, rhetoric practical teacher, educator, social teacher. The proposed guide covers only the first section of disciplines - history teacher of rhetoric. From renowned academic publications on the history of rhetoric, this guide is different didactic orientation and more attention to the oratorical practice
