Abstract
The article deals with the azerbaijanian discourse in M. Magomayev's litetrary works (using the book "Memories live in me"). The Baku text and genetically-social relationships of the artist with the musical world of the country are analyzed. Special attention is payed to the memories of Heydar Aliev, the national leader of Azerbaijan, with whom the artist was connected by the long-term friendship.
