Abstract
In the article the volume of key concepts of theory of the world picture turns out: the „world picture”, „model of the world”, „world offenses”. Аttention is paid to character of correlation between the different types of the world picture: mythological and scientific, naive and scientific, language and conceptual. The attention on importance of the account of a scientific paradigm and a methodological basis of research at definition of terminological dominants is focused: „world model” in structuralist researches and „image of the world” at the culturological approach to the language phenomena. It is noticed that the way of the conseptualization of the world (with naive or scientific consciousness), expressed in a language picture of the world, is differentiated not always accurately.
