Abstract

Anna Storozhik. Morphofunctional Peculiarities of Primary School Children with Reduced Hearing. There were studied the peculiarities of physical development of primary school children with hearing impairments. 52 practically healthy children and 58 children with impaired hearing function in the age of 7–10 years took part in the researches . It was determined that schoolchildren with hearing impairments have several lower somatometric indicators in comparison with healthy coevals, but those differences were not statistically significant. The absence of significant influence of hearing deprivation on the development of total sized school-age children was proved. It is proved that, except for 8 years old children, physical development of practically healthy pupils is higher than of pupils with hearing impairments. It was found out that vertical stability indicators of children with hearing impairment were significantly lower compared to practically healthy children
