Abstract
The article presents guidelines on work with educational texts of socio�cultural issues in classes with profound study of the Ukrainian language. Professionally-oriented texts develop students’ cognitive interest, describe linguistic phenomena provided the teacher models tasks and contribute to the choice of profession. Learning and consolidation of knowledge through text intensifies the learning process, allow to get rid of duplication and background material overload.
