Abstract
The problems of primary school teachers’ foreign language training, which are caused by modern educational trends in the sphere of primary school children’ foreign language teaching are actualized in the article; the ways to optimize the process of future primary school teachers’ foreign language communicative competence formation for the use of foreign language in teaching activity are identified.
