Abstract

The revival of early music in Western Europe in the late nineteenth century. gradually extended to the east of the country. Interest in ancient art in all its manifestations has initiated the development of performing, the interest in authentic instruments, theoretical studies, which examined the problems associated with this process. The publication summarizes the history harpsichord revival in Western Europe in the late XIX - early XX centuries. Apekty considered the process of revival of early music and harpsichord in Moldova directions tools, pedagogy, performing activities - concerts in the Organ Hall and the museums of Chisinau, the Moldovan creative composers for the harpsichord, the recording of the Moldovan radio. 60-80-ies. XX V. - during the creation of the foundations of harpsichord culture, further ways of development.
