Abstract

The article analyzes the historical background of the introduction of a "European approach to pre-school education." The author found the essential features of the approach, its principles, fundamentals, understanding in the European context. In the article the importance of introducing a "European approach" in Ukrainian educational space, defined the basic conditions for implementation; The prospects in the context of the implementation of training preschool teachers in the context of "competent preschool education system"; set the value of training to implement European approach.
