Abstract

In the article the semantic providing training of primary school teachers to speech and rhetorical activity is explored. Rhetorical training teachers in colleges and universities in the United States, in European countries (Bulgaria, France, Poland) is analyzed. Semantic content of curricula, training programs in terms of formation of readiness of teachers to speech and rhetorical activity are described. The meaning of "speech and rhetorical activity of primary school teachers", "speech and rhetorical competence of primary school teachers” are revealed.
