Abstract

It is about introducing a constructive approach to the training of future specialists in the system of higher education. Formation of competencies of students, their readiness for solving concrete problems of the present requires the search for new forms and methods of training. Competent centers created in different European universities based on the partnership of students, teachers and employers and relevant institutions and organizations, and capable of ensuring the implementation of a competent paradigm of modern education, are such an effective form. The practice of the Centers of Competence in higher education institutions of Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy is summarized.
