The article presents results of the scientiqc revexing on problems of education transformation in modern technological society, where a  teacher builds a  relationship with the  young generation, whose world of  values is  signiqcantly determined by online socializing. There is  an urgent problem of  philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and social justiqcation of virtual teachers` performance. Origin of  such professional phenomenon is  generation Z whose real and virtual worlds are inseparable. Even more intense changes experience generation Alpha. At the  same time, one of  the  key Ukrainian education problems nowadays is  a teacher as  a  keeper of  old stereotypes. The  examines conceptual foundations of secondary education reforms based on the program “The New School. Space for Educational Opportunities” in the context of professional education and formation of new generation teachers. The author analyses possible ways of  increasing teachers` motivation to  professional development as  an  important condition of  implementing a  school reform. Психологічні науки) № 1, 2017 5 programs, rejecting the  idea of  uniqcation of  teacher training process, supporting practically oriented approach to  teacher training, reinforcement of  humanoriented component of  pedagogical education, developing teachers` leadership qualities, skills of  combining knowledge in  age psychology and using innovative approaches to  teaching. Problems of  teachers` social status in  the  context of  the  Law “On Education” implementation are discussed.
