The article is devoted to a theoretical justification of a new strategy of the preschool teachers’ professional preparation of at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, which is correlated with the European education tendencies of the development, is oriented on them as vectors of progress, and preserves national values at the same time. The author focuses on such vectors as: ensuring the quality of education and its relevance to the needs of society, partner interaction between all subjects of the educational process in higher education, the construction of training on the basis of research, multicultural education, preservation of national traditions of education, strengthening the role of ethical foundations in professional training, and widespread use of IC technologies.
