Abstract

Digital education contributes to effective collaboration of a large number of teachers and students in the field of acquisition of new knowledge, acquisition of digital competences. Digital education makes an effective and transparent educational process, offers new tools for scientific and educational cooperation. Digital education implies a radical transformation of the methodology of providing educational services through the integration of ICT technology into the educational process and using of the Internet culture of openness and the exchange of information and knowledge. In the article is substantiated the essence of digitization of education, as such, based on the use of digital computer technologies in the educational process. Successful outcome of digital education is the expected successful functioning of the economy within the “digital triangle”: digital citizenship, digital creativity and digital entrepreneurship. The main resource of digital education is information. Digital education already changes the traditional system of education in the direction of forming its new quality. Among the competencies that are fundamental as a result of reforming the education system of Ukraine are: personal, social and educational competence; civil competence; competence of cultural awareness and self-expression. Digital competence involves confident, critical and responsible use and interaction with digital technology for learning, work and community participation. The content of digital competence is sound, considering that it involves confident, critical and responsible use of digital technologies and interaction with them in the course of study, work and life in the society. Modern digital technologies described and characterized in a scientific article highlight the question of formation of digital competencies necessary for reforming and systemic modernization of the institute of education. Taking into account already existing scientific developments in the field of digital education, the authors proposed a model for the formation and management of digital education in Ukraine.
