Abstract

The article deals with one of the postgraduate education systems – a system of acquiring the second higher education and in-service teachers’ training. The meaning of term “in-service training” is explained. The case study revealed that students want their education to be individually oriented and focused on solving certain problems. The main principles of adults studying are characterized, such as motivation, personal abilities, life experience, activeness, usability, etc. Considering this principles and conditions, the main ways to improve in-service teachers’ training are defined.
