Abstract

the main aspects of effective psychological and pedagogical support of professional self-determination of high school students are revealed in the article as a process of formation of internal readiness for making professional choice. The psychological factors of professional self-determination of the upper pupils are distinguished: at macro-, meso- and micro levels. The experience in providing the development of these psychological factors is presented and important conclusions are substantiated in the recommendations, elaborated training program, which was implemented with 10th grade pupils. The article describes psychological and pedagogical support aimed at the formation and development of internal psychological factors of professional self-determination in the areas of: psychoprophylaxis (for internal actualization of factors of professional self-determination), psychodiagnostics (to identify the level of their formation); psychocorrection and development (to ensure their development). As professional self-determination of a person cannot be carried out in isolation from family or school life, it is concluded, that support includes interaction of all participants in the educational environment (administration, teachers, parents, students). The components of parental competence (motivational, cognitive, activity) regarding the professional self-determination of high school students are identified. Three main strategies (imperative, manipulative, developing), which are usually manifested in the activity of teachers and can influence the professional self-determination of students, are presented as well. The model of psychological and pedagogical support of formation of professional self-determination of high school students is regarded. Three directions of work – psycho-diagnostics, psychocorrection and development, psychoprophylaxis through active joint interaction of the main subjects of the educational environment are shown in the article
