Abstract

The article clarifies and systematizes the theoretical aspects of the problem of psychological support of indirect memory of older preschool children in the process of creative games, as well as describes the results of an empirical study with the development of a comprehensive system of work on the development of indirect memory of older preschool children in creative play. In this empirical study, diagnostics of the levels of memory development of older preschoolers and the levels of development of the structural components of their creative games were performed. The psychological peculiarities of the relationship between the level of development of indirect memory of children and the level of development of their creative play activity are determined, namely, by means of correlation analysis it is established that the development of play activity of older preschool children and the development of their memory are closely interrelated. It was found that children who have well-developed structural components of creative play showed good results in diagnosing the development of their indirect memory, which indicates that the level of development of the child's creative play activity directly affects the level of development of his indirect memory. According to the research, several subgroups of children with different levels of memory and game development were identified, the opportunities and developmental features of which were taken into account during the development and planning of the system of work for the development of indirect memory of preschool children in creative games. The article also presents the elements of the developed complex system of work for the development of indirect memory of older preschool children in creative play activities, which proved its effectiveness in the implementation of pre-school education. The recommendations for educators on the problem of psychological support of indirect memory of preschool children in the process of creative games are described. The main perspectives of further searches on these issues are highlighted, which are to investigate the problems of understanding by parents of children the importance of developing different types of memory in creative games.
