Abstract

The program is concluded in accordance with the requirements of the credit-module system of training organization. The program determines the amount of knowledge that a student must acquire in accordance with the requirements of educational qualification characteristics, algorithm for studying the educational material of the discipline "Media Law and Information Security", the necessary methodological support, components and technology for assessing students' academic achievement. The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the fundamental foundations of public administration in the field of information policy and information security as a practical policy of the state power to perform the functions of the state in solving common problems of life for the whole society; to provide students with knowledge and understanding of media law: the limits of freedom of expression, which is legally and forbidden to journalists; to teach students to prevent dangerous legal situations; give the concept of legal advice before publishing conflicting material, form knowledge of the law and the judiciary in order to better cover these topics in journalistic practice Task: - to acquaint students with the key problems of content and meaning of public administration and security in the field of information processes; - to provide students with the necessary conditions for the implementation of the state information policy, its legal framework, including: a) the theory of transformation of the impossible into the possible; b) resource components of information processes; c) the content of the legal basis of information policy; d) legal protection of copyright and related rights in general and rights to computer programs and databases; e) protection of personal information; e) electronic contracts and electronic knowledge sharing; e) information threats; g) technical, technological and humanitarian dimensions of information security; g) the fight against computer crimes; h) information confrontation and information wars. Therefore, the emphasis is on understanding the basic parameters of information policy and security.
