Abstract

The article deals with the problem of discrimination of employees with disabilities and presents examples of some of manifestations of ableism on the part of the employer and the staff of the organization. Stereotypes regarding "professional inferiority" lead to the lack of full inclusion of a disabled employee in the work process. Based on the results of the survey, the author concludes that it is necessary to adapt the staff of organizations to people with disabilities, to create opportunities for them to succeed. The real, not declared, ableism should be part of every organization's corporate culture.
