Abstract

Dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of improving oral and written language of pupils. Research has substantiated and experimentally proven methodology of development the abilities to argue and prove during learning process with applying discussion methods in the groups of pupils of 5-7 classes. The essence of the proposed method is to create a system of exercises and tasks of different difficulty levels (receptive, reproductive, productive), use of argumentative texts in the controversial debate issues according to the stages of forming experiment (preparation, formation, control and evaluation). This system implements a comprehensive approach to developing abilities of pupils to bring their own opinion on the application of group discussion methods in Ukrainian language lessons, learning the psychological processes of the quality of their own self-expression and language methodological conditions of this complex integrated skill. Found out the nature, structure and mechanisms of the process of creating your own proven controversial classification of methods, evaluation criteria specified skills to improve their speech in the debate discussion, taken into account the requirements of programs, the possibility of current textbooks, data of statements, and view on the researched problem in the practice of teaching of Ukrainian language. Developed and experimentally verified the contents, methods, forms and means of development of students' abilities to prove during learning process with applying discussion methods. Experimentally proved that the proposed method is effective and will improve oral and written language of pupils of 5-7 classes.
