Abstract
The article discusses theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of problem of the content selection of specialists professional training in journalism and media. It justifies necessity of fundamentalization of the content of professional education according to generalization of knowledge, integration program material in fundamental ideas, laws and specific science concepts. The author presents the program's fragment of integrated course " Communication Technology", outline goals, tasks, content and problematic technology of its teaching.
