Abstract
In the article the concept of design competence formation of students of secondary schools, covering principles, goals, objectives and definite process model. The model of formation of project competence is seen as a reflection of changes in the educational activity in the educational environment of the school through the establishment of appropriate organizational and pedagogical conditions.
