Abstract
The article examines the beliefs as the basis for the emergence of an optimistic worldview, and in particular social optimism. When optimism is primarily understood as a certain system of world views that may be motivated human behavior and attitude of the individual to define different areas. In this context, social optimism acts as an idea, knowledge or ideas by which an individual attempts to explain events that happen his social life. These events can be ranging from everyday work and relations with the immediate environment, ending relation to political changes and economic crises.
