Abstract
The thesis analyzes the philosophical, ethical, psychological, and pedagogical sources on the issues of mercy education, specifies the essence and the structure of the concepts «mercy» and «boarding primary school students’ mercy accomplishment». The peculiarities of primary school students’ mercy education in boarding school extracurricular activities are determined. The criteria, the indicators, and the levels of boarding primary school students’ mercy accomplishment are developed. The pedagogical conditions of primary school students’ mercy education in boarding school extracurricular activities are theoretically justified and experimentally verified, namely boarding school educators’ training for primary school students’ mercy education; humanization of relationships in the system «educator-student», «student-student»; content and methodological support of the process of primary school students’ mercy education in boarding school extracurricular activities; involving boarding primary school students into different types of common emotional and valuable activities aimed at exercising mercy.
