Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the problem of manager of secondary education institutions’ personal readiness for activities in conditions of educational transformation. It is proved that the implementation of any educational transformation is dependent upon the effectiveness of the strategy and tactics of school management, which are formed by their managers. It is proved that the administrative activity in the conditions of change has its own characteristics and requires the head, in addition to relevant knowledge, the presence of certain personality traits, a set of which is reflected in the content of the concept of "psychological readiness for activity". The results of empirical studies of the personal readiness of middle education institutions to work in the conditions of educational transformation.
