Abstract
There are problems of physical education specialists’ continuous professional training on the present stage of investigation analyzed in the article. It is noted that the source of the lifelong education idea is religious and philosophical concepts and teachings of person’s permanent spiritual development. The key points of lifelong education concept are characterized. The principles of lifelong learning system constructing are defined such as following: integrity, multiculturalism, continuity, interactivity, humanistic orientation, democracy. The principles that form the basis for theoretical and practical concept of lifelong education are mentioned. There are recommendations of international organizations about the planning and management of vocational training across the country presented. The ways of continuous training realization, taking into account global trends of lifelong education are defined. The functions of lifelong professional training are characterized such as following: sociocultural, developmental, comprehensive, compensating, adaptive, economic. The problems of physical education specialists’ continuous professional training are defined as well as theoretical and methodological principles that investigated by scientists. The trends of researches in physical education and sports area are submitted. It is noted that the physical education specialists’ professional training is implemented in the process of learning in higher education institution in accordance to the relevant educational and professional, educational and research, and scientific academic programs; at several levels of higher education such as: elementary level (short cycle) of higher education; first (bachelor) level; the second (master) level; the third (education and research) level; and scientific level. As a result of successful implementation of corresponding educational (educational and professional or education and research) or scientific program the specialist is awarded the appropriate degree of higher education: younger bachelor; bachelor; MA; PhD; PHD.
