Abstract

In the article possibilities of psychological and pedagogical support of senior preschool children to assist them in overcoming age-related fears were analyzed. Author's program of psychological and pedagogical support was presented. The main directions of the following program are: 1) awareness of all participants in support of children's fears and coping strategies of the process; 2) emotional support for the child in a situation they fear living; 3) participation and joint action of an adult and a child to overcome fear. It marked the basic principles, aims and objectives of the proposed program, and describes the main stages of its implementation. It is shown that the main purpose of psychological and pedagogical support is actualization of the experience of the senior preschool children in situations of fear coping strategies productive to overcome it.
