Abstract

The main approaches to the formation of diagnostic competence of primary school teachers are determined on the basis of the historical analysis of the professional training and establishement. The author describes the content and methodical component of the teacher diagnostic activity and characterizes its phased assimilation into the instructional process. In the article special attention is paid to teaching the discipline "Basics of Educational Diagnostics". Measures to provide student teaching and research work are also described
