Abstract
The article deals with the phenomens of the social perception, the social stereotyping and the social stereotypes, their manifestation in the social Internet networks. Was traced features of the Internet environment and the possibilities of deploying the social phenomena in it. Defined the features of the user's self-presentation in the network on the example using different types the graphical representations (avatars) and also the features of the formation stereotypes based on their perception by other people.
