Abstract
The main task of modern school is an education of competent person, who have knowledge base and can use it in real life, act adequately, adapt to difficult social conditions, overcome life’s difficulties, maintain own health at the proper level and resist negative effects as well. Health saving and promotion depend largely on person’s attitude to own health. To teach children to save and promote health is one of the major issues of modern primary school. The most significant aspects of formation process of primary school children’s health behavior are consistency, continuity and sequence of their education, which afford an opportunity to carry out health promotion activity and gradually complicate it. Paper describes health-saving value of mathematical exercises of valeological content, which are suitable for using in educational process of primary school. These exercises increase primary school children’s knowledge of human and its health; provide emotional uplift of children; decrease anxiety level; “unload” brain by right hemisphere’s work, which is responsible for visual thinking; ease process of educational content memorizing; form healthy behavior skills.
