Abstract
Two subsequent tendencies towards the comprehension of living are observed. The first tendency is revealed in sharp increasing and constant extension of the attention of the modern Christian Orthodox to the questions of development of the science about the emergence of living, the estimation of the evolution theory. The second tendency in the understading of living by modern theologists cocerns the estimation of those fields of science. Therefore the ideas of eastern patristics about the wholeness of all living things, about its divine nature is the moral-ethical expert investigation in the branch of knowledge of transplantology, genetic engineering, cloning of animals etc.
