Abstract
In this article a number of important issues related to improving the efficiency the use of illustrations in learning of natural sciences are highlighted. The problem of clarity in modern higher school is that in many studies its principles are formulated in a rather general form. They naturally have a right to exist, but do not always give adequate effect to the specific courses that have a particular specificity. In the study of natural sciences abstract component comes to the fore and requires further research with a methodical, logical, psychological and other perspectives. In the study conducted by the authors the attempt is made to specify the basics of visual images using to improve the perception of the theoretical material in such sciences as physics and mathematics. The authors do not believe to the conclusions made in the article be the final so the study of this binding characteristics of the presentation of certain scientific disciplines.
