The article is devoted to the problem of the development of preverbal thinking of children with violations of auditory function and speech impairment and to ascertain the effectiveness of the visual-active thinking of the child, its formation in conditions where verbal speech is absent or there is a delay in speech development. The issue of the use of infant resources for a child with special educational needs(SEN) to enhance her intellectual activity, which is based on feelings, perceptions, and attitudes in early and pre-school age ,requires special study. The visual-acting thinking that develops on an emotional basis in terms of space development, awareness of time sequences, forms the basis for the development of visual-figurative and verbal-logical thinking in preschool children. All activities (actions) of an adult and the child are carried out in certain spacial and temporal limits, has a time sequence due to the logical laws of purposeful activity. In the course of the study,it was found that children have difficulty in reproducting those actions that are successfully used in practice. The obtained results have led to the conclusion that those actions implemented by the child in practical activity are not sufficiently fixed in its visual memory, are limitedly realized in the visual-action thinking (only at the level of 2-3 actions). This phenomenon questioned the effectiveness of the use of practical activities for the formation of the visual-active thinking of the child with SEN,since it was found difficult to active the imagination, memory, errors,in reproducting the sequence of actions. These data may indicate that a childs mental model af action logic is not formed in her imagination,in memory,in her mind, although in practice the logic of deployment is,as a rule, adequately developed. The imitation of the actions of adults lies within the limits of childrens opportunities, but the lack of attention of adults to the formation of childrens imagination of the sequence of cations, their logical development until the resuls, leads to a decrease in the potential of the formation of visual-active memory and visual-action thinking in children with violations auditory function and delayed speech development. The potential possibilities of special exercises, aimed at forming in the child the ideas about practical actions of adults, their own, ehich infold in space and time are the basis of the development of its contractual logical visual ant action thinking.
