Abstract
The article highlights the need to familiarize children with the description of both functional and semantic type of speech, with peculiarities of its structure , construction and method of implementation in the educational process of pre-schools and primary schools. Description is a type of monologue plays an important role in speech development of a child in their daily lives more inclined to be expressed in the form of stories. Description, expressing static events children learn much more difficult because teachers need to know its features to teach children to properly use its types
