Abstract

In the article the development of the philosophy of education is analyzed in the Anglo-American, West European and Ukrainian educational spheres as one of the largest pluralistic scientific branches of learning. The reasons of the appearance of the integrated scientific approach to the cognition of education - „osvitologiya" - are substantiated. The object, subject and the tasks of the new approach are defined.
