Abstract
In the process of implementation of the pilot program for the development of professional competence of the teaching staff of the institution of education, which is being implemented in 20 institutions of general secondary education in the city of Kiev, requests were found for the maintenance of coaching activities after the completion of training under a specially designed program. In addition, this need has been confirmed by monitoring the quality of designing a program for the development of teaching staff, which actualized the search for its optimal form. Analysis of experience of realization of the trainigsprograms for adult professionals confirmed supposition public organizations in relation to efficiency of supervision. However absence of normative documents, as regulate her use in the system of post-degree pedagogical education, functions determine, aim, task, form of realization, requirement to preparation of supervisor and others like that is a complex problem that needs a decision both on scientific and on legislative levels. The article presents results of a research on the essence of a notion of “supervision” and peculiarities of supervision as a form of development of the professional competence of pedagogical staff in the context of reforming the education system in Ukraine. The article outlines an author’s point of view regarding opportunities of using supervision in the work of educational coaches, forms of carrying out supervision and the structure of supervision. Results of an empirical research confirm the necessity of special training of laboratory assistants and academic staff at institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education for putting supervision into practice. In further research’s it costs to pay attention to necessity of creation of institute of educational supervision and educational supervisors, clarification of functions of supervision, taking into account the specific of activity of educational trainer in the system of formation of Ukraine, setting of norms of activity of educational trainer and supervisor in the system of post-degree pedagogical education. In the context of preparation of trainers of the program of development of professional competence of pedagogical personnel of establishment of education a necessary step are development and approbation separate to the module in an on-line tutorial, sanctified to realization.
