Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of using the potential of music in shaping the preschooler's natural and ecological competence. The emphasis is on modern studies on the formation of a value relation to the natural environment. Grounded positive impact of different types of musical activity on the formation of representations of objects and natural phenomena in preschool children. There are examples of their use when familiarizing children of the fifth year of life with the phenomena of nature.
