Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the formation and development of a developing environment for children in the period of the Ukrainian National Republic (1917-1919). The main approaches to the creation and functioning of a developing environment for children of preschool and primary school age are covered. The main ideas and principles were generalized, they regulated the development of developing environments and education in Ukraine in 1917-1919. The main institutions for children of preschool and primary school age, which functioned during the UNR (1917-1919), were identified. The goals and objectives of a single school activity on the territory of the UNR in 1917 are characterized according to educational principles. The features of extracurricular work with children in 1917-1919 are presented. Socio-political changes caused by the education reform of the UNR, can be considered fundamental in the development of the educational environment for children of preschool and primary school age. The article presents the results of the role of the revolutionary coup in Ukraine, which prompted the active introduction of ideas of preschool education, the creation of functional development environments in various institutions for children of preschool and primary school age and the realization of the pedagogical views of the time on the upbringing, training and development of children. According to the results of the analysis, the main ideas and principles have been highlighted, regulating the development of education in Ukraine in 1917-1919, in particular the activities of developing environments for children. This is the creation of a system of institutions for children of preschool and primary school age (kindergartens, children's areas, children's centers, labor schools, children's clubs, etc.) and the acquisition of equality of the right to receive general education for children free of charge. Also the role of conducting classes and teaching all school subjects in the native Ukrainian language and compulsory study of the Ukrainian language for children of other nationalities. Also taking into account the interests and opportunities of children during the education, upbringing and development of children in various educational institutions (implementation of an individual approach).
