Abstract

This article is written about the appropriateness of using the project method at English lessons with students of non-linguistic specialties. The essence of this method is explained here. The practical aspect of the project activity application is determined. An attempt is made to show how it can help to develop the personality of each student of social and psychological specialties. It is proved how it provides the opportunity to realize students’ learning activity based on their abilities, aptitudes, interests, value orientations and subjective experience, makes it possible to use the knowledge gained from other subjects in English lessons.
